(4) This year, The Bottomless Lakes Triathlon has, again designated Harvest Ministries as the charity for their event. Their event brought in more than $12,000 for Harvest. For more information, call 575-624-8284 or check out their facebook page.
-If you are interested in sponsoring a food drive any time of the year, or a coat or blanket drive during the fall and winter months, please contact us for further information.
Local Roswell churches sponsor a food drive for Harvest on the 5th Sunday every quarter. Businesses, schools and civic organizations often sponsor food drives and volunteer events throughout the year. It is a great way to unify your organization for a great cause and show your support for the less fortunate in your community.
Volunteers are needed to help sort, package, and stock food. During the fall and winter months, we will also accept donations of new and gently used coats, gloves, and blankets that are clean and in good condition. We don't want anyone to go hungry, nor do we want anyone to suffer in the cold without adequate clothing or blankets.
If you are volunteering at the Harvest Ministries Center, please be there Monday through Thursday at 8:45 a.m. to help sort and box the food.
Thanks to all who will be giving of their time and talents to see God's kingdom advanced as we fulfill the commission to feed and clothe our neighbors in need!
